Canadian businessman Peter Munk, Porto Montenegro is the most luxurious marina on the Adriatic coast.
Many villas, residences, astonishing Regent hotel and shopping zones are complementing the shine of magnificent yachts tendered in the marina over the whole year. This marina is worth a visit to see since it is not far from Kotor. This optional visit to the Porto Montenegro can be added to any of the tours. I would suggest it as an option to the five hour tour, for those passengers that don’t like climbing up the mountain. In that case we will skip climbing up and visiting Cetinje. Therefore, the tour will include: Perast, Porto Montenegro, Jaz beach, Budva, St Stefan, Trojica hill and back to Kotor.
The itinerary of my tours is based on many years of my guiding experience, and has included the sites that will make any welcomed passenger speechless. This doesn’t mean that we cannot skip some or add other site on our route in accordance to your preferences. Tailor the route of natural beauty, local customs, tradition, pride, adventure, religion of Montenegro on your own. Tours by Milo team will be looking forward to guiding it!
Important note: if we prolong some tour up to 30 minutes and even 1 hour, this will not be charged additionally. The idea is to enjoy the tours, local tradition and culture, famous historical places and amazing landscape without rush and without commercial touristic time spending.
Includes departure from Kotor ancient veniecian republic town to Perast, the oldest baroque town, UNESCO protected and built by sailors, then beach Jaz (break to enjoy panoramic view on the most beautiful beach in Europe according to the Lonely planet ), Budva (panoramic ride), visit to old town Budva. After we have visited Budva- one of the oldest towns on the Adriatic coast we will visit Sv.Stefan old fisherman village transformed into town-hotel (the place where a film with James Bond was shot), after which we will drive above the hill around Kotor to observe the part of the bay from peak of the hill Trojica.
A few words about your port - Kotor, the most beautiful costal town in Montenegro.
Viewing Kotor from the sea, with a little bit of imagination you can picture the port and ships as they were in the past. You can imagine the caravans descending the mountains towards the town.
In your imagination, you can go back to the Middle Ages, the time of prosperity for Kotor, when precious cargos used to arrive there, to be shipped further to distant ports of other empires and kingdoms. Some of the most beautiful churches and cathedrals of Kotor date from this time, and almost all of them are built to the glory of certain saints who are the protectors of seamen.
Let's see in pictures the places we are visiting..
