One of the 3 last primeval forests in Europe,
where people still step down in front of the Nature, from 1878., by decree of
King Nikola Petrovic, it is a particularly guarded place in Montenegro and one
of the candidates for the World Heritage List.
This untouched corner of the beauty and
splendor of nature, in its primeval forests, hides a real gem – Lake Biograd.
Montenegro’s largest mountain lake lies in a
deep trail of former glacier at an altitude of 1094 meters, and its crystal
clear water are fed by the flows of Biogorska river and Bendovac stream.
